2. Information We Collect
- Account information — your name, email, business name, and phone number
- Customer data — names, addresses, and phone numbers entered by business owners about their own customers
- Job and service records — quotes, invoices, schedules, and service history
- Photos uploaded to document job completion
- Payment information — processed by Stripe. We never store card numbers
- SMS and email communication logs — delivery and read status, opt-out flags
- Usage data and analytics — pages visited, features used
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and operate the ServiceLedger platform
- To send transactional SMS and email notifications related to your services
- To process payments via Stripe
- To improve the platform and fix bugs
- We never sell your data to third parties
- We never send marketing SMS without explicit consent
4. SMS Communications
ServiceLedger sends transactional SMS only. Message types include appointment confirmations, invoice notifications, payment reminders, job completion alerts, and crew schedule notifications.

- Message frequency varies based on service activity
We do not share your mobile phone number with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile numbers are used only to deliver the transactional messages described above, via the SMS provider listed in section 5.

5. Data Sharing
We share data only with the service providers that ServiceLedger relies on to operate, and only what each provider needs to function:
- Stripe — payment processing
- Twilio — SMS delivery
- Resend — email delivery
- Supabase — data storage and authentication
- Sentry — error monitoring
6. Data Retention
- Account data is retained while your account is active
- Data is deleted on written request to [email protected]
- Payment records are retained for 7 years to comply with financial regulations
